Lord Jesus, You said how sweet it is when brethren live together in unity. And You taught us to love one another as we love ourselves.
To be patient and kind, to put away envy, pride, rudeness, and selfishness.
To be slow to take offense, focus on the good in people and rejoice when the truth wins.
You said love never fails, but we fail to walk in it.
We’re self-centered and quick to believe the worst about people.
We’re easily offended, withholding the grace from others we so desperately depend on.
We’re quick to reduce the value of others to our last experience with them, forgetting life is a journey and none of us has arrived.
So, we lash out at each other with venom and unforgiveness—and it grieves your Spirit.
You made us in your image and likeness for fellowship with You and each other.
And You told us when two or more are gathered together in your Name, You are in the midst.
But we prioritize our pride over your presence.
Lord, humble us. Grieve our hearts with what grieves yours. We’re sorry, Lord, for making every single thing about us, when nothing ever is.
It’s not about “me, myself and I.”
And it’s never been about the wounds we inflict on others from our own brokenness. It’s always been about the restoration through what You suffered in yours.
We say it is so! And so it is, in your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen!
Prayer inspired by Ephesians 4:1-3.
“I have no words right now.”
We’ve all been there. Life hands you a problem you can’t even put into words, much less solve. And whether you’re a longtime believer who’s discouraged, you’re new to faith in Christ or you’re wondering what this “Jesus stuff” is all about, talking with God about what you’re facing feels so far out of reach.
What if there were a way to making talking to God easier?
You may not know what to say or you may not want to pray. But if you’re overwhelmed, speechless, and confused about what to do next, Jesus wants to help you.
Got A Minute to Pray is a collection of 60 Bible-based prayers for today’s challenges like worry, anxiety, and depression.
These prayers are both powerful and practical. They connect your needs with God’s heart by echoing what God has already promised you. Because, unlike people, God always stands behind His word.
These guided prayers reduce anxiety and restore the peace you long for.
Christian prayer is not about religion. It’s a relationship with the living God. And when you have no words for what you’re facing, Jesus has plenty. So, you got a minute to pray?

Great prayer Vanessa, thanks for sharing.
Ouch and Amen to “Lord humble us. Grieve our hearts with what grieves yours. We’re sorry Lord for making every single thing about us, when nothing ever is.”…when nothing ever is!
Peace
