In a world full of conflict, there will be trouble, but we set the tone for our week. We can choose joy.

Lord God, we thank You for waking us up this morning. Thank You for waking us up to love, to grace, to peace, and to joy.
This is the day You have made, and we choose to rejoice rather than complain.
Everything isn’t perfect. In this world, we have trouble, but unlike the world, we don’t go through it on our own. You are with us and You wake us up to your goodness!
We praise You as the joyful God, thoroughly pleased with Jesus’ work on the cross and delighting in those who’ve put their faith in Him.
And as we go thru this day and the days ahead, we ask You to satisfy us every morning with your unfailing love. Draw us to your word and your presence. Help us stay there till you’ve satisfied our souls with your inexhaustible, inescapable love.
Lord, love on us till we overflow with joy, humming and singing the melodies You put on our hearts.
And for the times, for some years, we’ve spent in sorrow. We believe you’ll make us glad for just as many years. We surrender ourselves to You. Because You’ve seen our sorrow and your word says You will repay us.
We thank You that joy is our portion in Christ Jesus, the One who loves us so.
And it’s in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
Prayer inspired by Psalm 90:14-15.
“I have no words right now.”
We’ve all been there. Life hands you a problem you can’t even put into words, much less solve. And whether you’re a longtime believer who’s discouraged, you’re new to faith in Christ or you’re wondering what this “Jesus stuff” is all about, talking with God about what you’re facing feels so far out of reach.
What if there were a way to making talking to God easier?
You may not know what to say or you may not want to pray. But if you’re overwhelmed, speechless, and confused about what to do next, Jesus wants to help you.
Got A Minute to Pray is a collection of 60 Bible-based prayers for today’s challenges like worry, anxiety, and depression.
