Father God, fighting an unseen enemy isn’t new to your sons and daughters. We’ve done it ever since we responded to your call to come out of darkness into light through Jesus—the only way.
Our fight is never against people.
It’s against principalities and powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly realms.
It’s always been bigger than us.
And through the enemy’s latest attack, we’re reminded to fight like we have before. So, we put on the full armor of God and STAND. We stake our position as the righteousness of God in Christ and stand on your word that no weapon formed against us will be able to prosper.
The enemy came in like a flood, but You raised up a standard against him. So, we praise You that we’ll see him fleeing in every direction.
In the meantime, we stand in the truth that this virus the devil meant for evil, You will turn for the good of us who love You, those who You called according to your purpose.
We stand, even if we’re trembling, even if some close to us have fallen sick or fallen asleep. Because though we suffer in a fallen world, Christ overcame it. All our hope is in Him. And we’ll never be put to shame because of it.
Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!
It’s in the name above every name, including Coronavirus, JESUS, we pray. Amen.
Prayer inspired by Ephesians 6:12.
“I have no words right now.”
We’ve all been there. Life hands you a problem you can’t even put into words, much less solve. And whether you’re a longtime believer who’s discouraged, you’re new to faith in Christ or you’re wondering what this “Jesus stuff” is all about, talking with God about what you’re facing feels so far out of reach.
What if there were a way to making talking to God easier?
You may not know what to say or you may not want to pray. But if you’re overwhelmed, speechless, and confused about what to do next, Jesus wants to help you.
Got A Minute to Pray is a collection of 60 Bible-based prayers for today’s challenges like worry, anxiety, and depression.
These prayers are both powerful and practical. They connect your needs with God’s heart by echoing what God has already promised you. Because, unlike people, God always stands behind His word.
