Lord, we know You SEE, KNOW and LOVE us.
You laid down Your life to prove it and You fill our days with real time reminders—great and small. We’re grateful for your goodness and mercy chasing us down every day. But we live in a fallen world filled with failing hearts.
And so many of us are hurting.
Some of us just came out of literal storms or the storms of life. Some are in the middle of one. And some are entering another round.
But none of us are meant to do life alone.
Help us look up from our circumstances and see our neighbor. Crazy enough, someone else has it just as bad, if not worse than us. Help us open our hearts and homes to know each other’s struggle, to empathize with encouraging smiles and agreement in prayer.
Because we’re all in this together and we need each other.
And when the enemy lies to us and tells us it’s every man for himself. And we should take care of ourselves because who else will? Remind us we serve each other out of the strength You give. That You, Good Shepherd, never leave us lacking.
You feed and refresh us before You ever ask us to pour into another.
We will never cease to be amazed by your faithfulness. Your comfort, compassion and strength during our trials are wonders we rarely appreciate till we make it through.
And as we stand on your promise to never leave nor forsake us, help us extend your grace to our neighbor.
It’s in the name of Jesus, a very present help in time of trouble, we pray. Amen!!!
Prayer inspired by Romans 12:12-13.
“I have no words right now.”
We’ve all been there. Life hands you a problem you can’t even put into words, much less solve. And whether you’re a longtime believer who’s discouraged, you’re new to faith in Christ or you’re wondering what this “Jesus stuff” is all about, talking with God about what you’re facing feels so far out of reach.
What if there were a way to making talking to God easier?
You may not know what to say or you may not want to pray. But if you’re overwhelmed, speechless, and confused about what to do next, Jesus wants to help you.
Got A Minute to Pray is a collection of 60 Bible-based prayers for today’s challenges like worry, anxiety, and depression.
