“Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one,the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”

To everyone else, Mary probably didn’t stand out. She was a teenage girl doing what girls did at that time—preparing to marry and start a family.
But the Lord doesn’t look at the outward appearance. He looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).
And something about Mary made her favorable to receive this revelation of Jesus.
Every revelation we receive of Jesus is a gift never to be taken for granted. There’s nothing spectacular about you that warrants it.
It’s the grace of God He would bless you and me to get to know Him in a personal way.
Getting to know Jesus is the greatest gift. You are highly favored.
